It's very encouraging to ...I really like this.<br /><br />It's very encouraging to read something (strangely considered taboo) that is solution driven as opposed to pointing out the obvious.<br /><br />E. Tolle has made a substantial living from stating that the mind is a superb instrument if used correctly but extremely destructive if used excessively. To put that more accurately, its not so much that you use your mind incorrectly, people usually don't use it at all, it uses you.<br />I reckon that people affiliate who they are with what their mind says they are. E.g: Anorexics convincing themselves that they're fat, Gamblers convincing themselves that their luck will change. I realise its too easy to generalise here but the point still stands that this can lead to major problems up to and including obsession.<br /><br />Becoming aware of all this is a nice first step to take to the path of a solution (that's if there is one).<br />Fair play on building the first step.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14968328932262130191noreply@blogger.com
